Productivity — what does it mean?
Something which has a benefactor for your future or producing a huge output in much lesser time you have. I am a 22-year-old guy, and I realize that living a productive life is fantastic. When you look back into your past, you recognize that you have used your time wisely. Since college, I was never good at studies, but I was good at managing my time. I always used my time well, into more specific tasks which will help me in building my future. I worked on ample software back then, and I still respect software skills the most. I know I am wrong, but I don’t understand why does it come to me so naturally.
I am working with my father now, and we are a plastic part supplier to big MNC who deal with B2C fans. So manufacturing is pretty dull, I mean I am a creative person, and I believe in creating stuff rather than just looking at ordinary things. So, after graduating, I went for the job where I can fill, where I can feed my creative soul for more inventive stuff.
And after working in that industry, I felt that I was in the right place. Through my innovative soul, I was helping other brands to grow and excel. I mean I was in the right place, into the right job, it was perfection. Until father hits me with his million dollar business where he told me that “I want you to help me with my business,” and it wasn’t growth but the company was already with a grown at par. The company has grown so much that my family needs more people to manage and who’s better than your family members.
But when I asked my friends, they suggested joining my father. You guys might be thinking that this is madness, taking my life decisions by bringing your friends suggestions. But sometimes I believe that making your friends for references who is in the same boat as me, but a much smaller boat, where his dad is working his ass off to get a good life, and he doesn’t know where to go, well then I realized the worth of my life and how much lucky I am.
Apologies for getting a bit far away from the point. So I would highly recommend people to use their time wisely & just hold on to what you have, and stop caring about the world and your benchmark every second because when you will be 50 years old, and you will look back into time, you will be happy that you made the right choice in life.
I hope you liked my story today, clap if you find this any helpful!
